July 10th

So, today I went up Emigration (which is the ride I do all too often) This time, I met my friend Mark up there and we hit the road at 6:30am. Mark was perfect since he's faster and more experienced- so he dragged me up that hill much faster than I'd ever done it before. We we're up and back in an 1:15. (including our quick rest at the top).

The last steeper ascent was when we really we're letting it all go.. it made me lose what meager things were in my stomach. I will be doing some more interval training next week for sure!

So, cheers to riding with guys that kick my butt. Here's Mark driving away in his stage-3 turbo S4 wagon.. wait, a car in a bike blog? Rich must be posting. :)

Tomorrow I'm taking it easy, and Saturday will see if I can finish the Porcupine Hill Climb with Shep. Pray for me.
